Olympus reached back to its design roots when crafting the new OM-D E-M5 micro four thirds camera. The original OM line of film SLRs was known for its rich feature set and stylish, compact design. Now, released as a digital body, the first offering in the new OM-D line is the E-M5. Based on my initial testing, both in the lab and the field, this latest generation is destined to achieve even greater glory than the original.

Teleconverter for Olympus Evolt E-500?

I know Olympus makes the EC-14 1.4 teleconverter for the Zuiko digital lenses. Will it work with all the Zuiko digital lenses, or only select ones?

You can use it with all of them. Just try to keep the the aperture between F/2.8 and f/5.6. If you open it up more, you could experience vignetting and if you stop it down further, you could experience poor AF.

8 EF and 10-22mm EF-S lens alongwith Olympus E620, 14-42mm Zuiko and 40-150mm Zuiko lens and a Sigma 150mm 2. There was breeze and bit of low light which was a challenge for me, however after repeated attempts and some patience I was able to shoot it. I used my 150mm Sigma macro lens to get a great DoF. There were so many of them hanging in a queue, reminded me of my college days when lots of hearts would queue in order to get love, but love is won as this one have won mine. He is venturing into a new start up called BackPack and Camera Studio in Kolkata and wish to grow it into an Enterprise providing quality and affordable digital photography solution to anyone who comes within the realms of Digital photography. First Impressions of Carl Zeiss ZF.2 50mm 2,0 T* Makro-Planar

com I have owned a lot of standard lenses over the past 20 years: Olympus Zuiko 50mm 1,4, Canon EF 50mm 1,8, two Nikon AFD 50mm 1,4 lenses, Nikon AFD 50mm 1,8 N and finally a Nikon PC-E 45mm 2,8 micro, but sold all of them without using them much. The lens feels as solid as a rock with its long lasting all metal design, there are simply no sign of plastic in this gem of a lens - a very rare thing today. Now I´ve found the perfect one, the Zeiss 50mm Makro-Planar is the most flexible standard lens I have ever used. New Lenses and The Full Line Up.

All of my subjects are people and I prefer the focal lengths from 28mm, perfect for when you need a wider view without distorting anybody in the frame too much , I find a 24mm to distort a bit too much and my longest focal length is a 100mm macro. I just took delivery of the some new lenses that have rounded off my lens line up for everything I will be shooting from now on. I may add a longer focal length at some point , maybe a 135mm or something but I never shoot far away and prefer to be... My line up now consists of a Carl Zeiss 28mm f2 (brilliant lens), a Carl Zess 35 f2 (absolute gem of a lens),  a Canon 50mm f1. 4 (a good workhorse that covers most situations, After years of using different focal length lenses and in different situations I found that I am not a long telephoto shooter and I also don't like going too wide either....
