This plate, which mounts on the bottom of the camera/body, fits the slik Pro 300dx, Pro 330dx, Pro 340dx and Pro 500dx tripods. if You have handiest 1 camera, one of these plates comes with the previously listed tripods, ergo you need to purchase this plate most effective if you have assorted devices that you want to quick-mount (or if you in some way lost the plate that came with the tripod). Mix, 57, who lives in the Griffin Creek area of west Medford with his wife, Susan, says he's been setting up in his backyard "day after day" shooting hundreds of bird photos. "I'm just really happy about that," says Mix, who won a pair of Pro Master Binoculars, EL 10 x 42, valued at $299, from Total Camera and Video, 1310 A Center Drive, Medford, for his grand-prize photo. His grand-prize winner, a yellow warbler singing happily in a tree, was shot at the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge in far Eastern Oregon. And judging from his results in this year's contest, which attracted 334 entries, his effort is paying off. Mix submitted three photos, and all three of them placed in the top 11.

It is thanks to the continuing generosity of the Gifford Warner family, the cooperation of Scout leaders and assistance from The Essex Foundation, caretakers of the Youth House, that the Bumpy Warner Youth House has made a fresh start. Maintenance work on the building was slowed down because a plan was being formulated by The Essex Foundation and the Bumpy Warner Youth House Committee with the approval of the Selectmen and neighbors, to relocate scouting and youth activities to... Scouts and their parents and a host of community helpers have been hard at work at the Bumpy Warner Youth House on Bushnell Street, home to Essex Boy Scout Troop 12. However, the plans for the new building were stalled earlier in the year. Tucked away on a lane in downtown Essex, the Youth House has been used for over thirty years for scout troop meetings and activities.
